Lawyer Anna Hartogh visits her client Simon, the boss of BootCamp, a large jeans company. When she sees a ring lying around, she impulsively puts it in her bag. That same evening, she falls in love with Max, a detective at the police. Simon's brother, Patrick, has to take care of an unpleasant task: he fires a designer. The next day, when Anna goes to lunch with Simon, he shoves a disturbing video in front of her.

Anna struggles with Simon's sexual blackmail. She confides in her friend and partner, Roos. There seems to be no solution. Max is suspended and is bored out of his mind. He wonders if he can informally get involved with the case of the missing Salena. Simon's brother Patrick faces Mirande's parents and feels guilty about her suicide. Max gives Anna an idea on how to confront Simon.

Anna swears that she will never lie in bed with Simon again, even if she has to kill him for it. But he puts her under great pressure to meet again. Max finally wants to take action and actively searches for Salena. Patrick tries to pay his respects at Mirande’s funeral. Anna’s parents come to bring her a small gift.

Roos is worried about Anna’s story about her fight with Simon and that she stabbed him with an awl. Max tries to get out of his suspension. When the news comes in that Simon has been murdered, the police start a major investigation. Roos advises Anna to confess everything.

5. Een heilige

Max is now also involved in the investigation into Simon's death, who was murdered with a spike. Various suspects are being considered as the perpetrator. Anna assures Roos that she didn't stab him in the throat, but Roos finds it increasingly difficult to believe. Patrick is now on his own at BootCamp and demands that Anna resolve the issues surrounding Mirande's suicide.

6. Krankzinnig likeable

Max and his colleagues interrogate everyone who might know something about Simon's murder, including his secretary Lois. Anna searches for other victims of Simon's sexual misconduct. Lilly and the children struggle with the loss of their husband and father. Roos increasingly suffers from her conscience.

Max is in great confusion about the discovery he has made. He continues to search on his own. The suspicion also turns to Aron, Mirande's brother, and Simon's secretary Lois. Lilly wants to get involved with BootCamp. Anna thinks she has found a new victim of Simon.

Anna is finally willing to confess the whole story to Max. However, this puts him in a moral dilemma as a police officer. Roos has no choice but to make a difficult decision. Mirande's brother Aron involves his parents to confirm his alibi. Lilly does not understand where the ring she found came from.

Anna is in jail and is being intensely interrogated by the police. Lilly has to deal with an unpleasant truth. Max has become persona non grata with the police and is no longer allowed to get involved in anything. Patrick is afraid for the downfall of his company as the big spring fashion show approaches.

10. Drie negen zes vier

While the police try to get her back behind bars, Anna teams up with Max to search for the truth. Lilly doesn’t know how to cope with the facts about Simon that increasingly confront her. Patrick is determined that the big spring fashion show will be a success at all costs.
